About Lisa
Hi firstly I need to say a huge thank you for visiting my website. Please take a closer look at my paintings and you can always get in touch via the contact us form, I will reply.
Who is Lisa Patnick? I’m a wife and mummy to four boys, and 3 dogs. I’m originally from Bury Lancashire, and my Husband Simon is from Sheffield. We live in London . I would describe myself simply as someone who has a love and zest for life, and the glass is always half full.
My art journey began as an outcome of a breast cancer diagnosis as I was offered an Art Therapy course by Mount Vernon hospital, which is where i received my treatment. Unfortunately this was cut in half due to the pandemic, but I decided to continue this at home during the first national lockdown and I haven’t stopped since.
It was like I had been given a flat white canvas, and the opportunity to enter the entire world of colour with both arms. The paintings allowed me to travel wherever in the world I wished to go! My anxieties were washed over with bright uplifting colours and the stresses of illness and disease seemed to evaporate at least for as long as I painted.
My talented mother Val Goldstone has been painting for many many years and uses water colours as her main medium, where I love the boldness and intensity of Acrylics. People have been amazed as to where all my secret unknown talent has been hiding prior to my diagnosis. My answer is simply, when you're faced with life changing events which affect health and threaten mortality you see life in a very different way. For me I saw colour and indeed paint.
I have put my art in to various different categories, Geometric Art, Pop Out Art, Floral and more.
As you can see I have fallen in love with Painting. I hope you enjoy my paintings also. All of which are available now for sale.
Thanks for being part of my journey.
